Annual Meeting Recap

Thank you to everyone who attended the SCRLA Annual Meeting last weekend! We had a great turnout, and we elected three new members to the SRCLA Board:

1) Jon Folkedahl: Cedar Island Lake, retired energy and environmental consultant

2) Jeremy Schneider: Schneiders Lake, retired Delta Airlines IT Executive

3) Angie Tomovic: Knaus Lake, MN DOT Civil Engineer

Rick Reimer and Steve Weeres renewed their terms.

Once the election was complete, the outgoing President, Brad Matuska, led a great discussion about the challenges we all face regarding weeds. And bonus topics:
1) The Board will look at options for improving the safety at the pinch point between Krons Bay and Long Lake, including mirrors and caution signs.

2) District Commissioner Jeff Bertram may have a great solution to providing garbage receptacles at the landings!
